Carewann | Care at Home was founded by Ann Smith, RN, a nurse with more than 25 years of experience serving patients across multiple levels of care.
Her care journey began at age 17 as a nurse assistant, where she first witnessed how meaningful compassionate care can be and discovered her passion for caring for others during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Over the years, through dedication and continual growth, Ann’s career evolved through many stages — from caregiver to care coordinator, licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, nurse manager, and eventually director of nursing.
After decades of hands-on experience, Ann envisioned a new model of care — one that blends clinical expertise, professionalism, with genuine human compassion. That vision became Carewann, a trusted home care agency built to serve families who want dependable, heart-centered care at home.
